Need of the hour, and why Govt. failed to address this pandemic efficiently.

                

Hoping all of you are safe and healthy in this times of crisis. First of all, let me clear you one thing. I am neither against govt. nor I support any political party. Instead, I appreciate particular person not because they are associated with a particular political party but as a person. I respect them because of the accomplishments they have achievements, because of their educational qualifications,etc. This list includes Shashi Tharoor, Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

                  I am a big fan of Shashi Tharoor's vocabulory. Do you know the meaning of 'Floccinaucinihilipilification' ? He knows it. 

                Now talking about Arvind Kejriwal. He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering  from IIT Kharagpur. In 2006, he was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership in recognition of his involvement in the grassroots level movement Parivartan using RTI legislation in a compaign against corruption. The same year, after resigning from Govt. service, he donated his Magsaysay award money as a corpus fund to found the Public Cause Research Foundation, an NGO. He is not less than munificent Karn.

                                        So, I was telling you that I don't support any political party. Oh! I have supported BJP some years back. But now, I have changed my mind after watching 'The Dhruv Rathee Show'. Then who am I ? No, I am not talking about spirituality. I believe in 'Activism'. I am a critic. I am an analyst.  

                    Let's talk about this virus, notoriously known as Coronavirus. Biologists consider viruses to be non-living because : 

1. They are not cells. 

2. They do not grow or respond to their surrounding.

3. They can not make food, take in food, or produces waste.

4. They do not respond to stimuli.

                   They can only multiply if they are present in another cell. They also have spikes to help them to attach to the host. Some of the viruses which have been proved to be fatal to human beings are:

i). Small Pox             ii).  HIV Virus           iii). Ebola Virus                iv). Influenza Virus     v). Herpes Simplex Virus           vi). Adenovirus         vii). Chicken Pox Virus     viii). Papillomavirus 

                   Antidote to these viruses are known as vaccine. A vaccine works by training the immune system to recognize and combate the pathogens, either viruses or bacteria. 

               Unfortunately, we haven't found the vaccine of this coronavirus yet. However, Israel is claiming to be at the advanced stage of development of antibody against this coronavirus. Any country which will develop the vaccine of this virus will prove to be a major economy. However, chances of developing vaccine will depend upon how much amount a particular country spend on it's research. Following is a list of countries' GDP on research : 

1. France, 2.25% 

2. U.S.A., 2.74%

3. China,   2.11%

4. India,    0.62%

                                         So, chances are that, India will lag in developing vaccine. So, who is responsible for this? You can think, where I am hinting towards. In that sense, I was telling that Govt. has failed to address this pandemic efficiently. Govt. should also announce some initiative and some economic packages on the research field because the only hope we have is on vaccine. 

                                            Further increasing lockdown can't be a permanent solution. People are being sane at this time. There is a surge in domestic violence.

It was just my point of opinion towards govt. It is not necessary that everyone's point of opinion will match with me. It was something which I wanted to share with you. Your feedback are most welcome.
