Reading habits
First, of all Happy Mothers day to all.
Let us begin by understanding the meaning of reading. It means a way in which you understand a book, situation, etc. Yes, understanding a situation. I am sure 90% of you may not know that reading means to understand a situation. I also didn't know about it. Thanks to my companion 'Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary'.
Reading can be your hobby. It can also be your passion.
One of the foremost benefit which we get from reading is obviously information. As we are living in an information age, so it proves to be crucial for you to be acquainted with information. Reading helps in that. Whatever things we are doing such as studying, doing job, following passion, etc. it is all based on the information we have in our memory. Without information, we can't act.
It has also been said that thoughts create destiny. Yeah, it's 1000% true, but the question is what is that thing which create thoughts. Basically, thoughts are created from three things:
1. Information 2. Past Experiences 3. Belief System

Though I am not going in detail about other two, apart from information, but believe me it's true.
Let's understand how information will lead you to destiny. On the basis of information, thoughts will be created. Whatever thoughts you will have in your mind, it will trigger that type of emotions. Emotions will lead to feelings. Now whatever feelings you have in your mind, your actions will automatically be paved in that direction. A series of repeated action will be transformed into your habits. Now combining all your habits, a person of overall personality will be there. Personality is you & your destiny.
In a nutshell, your information is your destiny, which can be accomplished by reading. I sincerely feel it's one of the best benefit of reading.
Second benefit which I feel is that reading will improve your English. Either, it can be your vocabulary, your spoken English, your writing skill and many more.
Let me tell you an experience of mine. When, I was in 5th semester, there was a project by NPIU, in which GATE classes & Employability skills training curriculum were going to be held. There were two trainers to train us in acquiring the prominent skills which were necessary to make we people, the engineer fraternity to be employable. One of the trainer was from Mangalore. Her name was Dhanya Shree mam. She shared her experience with us that, she had visited many colleges in India. Most of the students were good in solving quatitative aptitude, reasoning, etc. But when it comes to communication skills, almost 80% of them were facing problem.
When I am talking about communication skill, it's just not merely spoken English, many more things are also there.
There are many more benefits of reading, which I will tell you later.
Thanks for spending your valuable time reading my blog. I hope I haven't offend you in any way.
